Israeli soldiers destroy anti-corona Palestinian checkpoint, injure one, and detain two Palestinians

Israeli soldiers destroyed a Palestinian anti-coronavirus check point and injured a Palestinian man during clashes at Jenin Refugee Camp, according to local sources.

 

The sources said Israeli soldiers destroyed an anti-corona checkpoint set by Palestinian security at Jenin's entrance, nothern West Bank city of Jenin. The check point was set up in order to contain the spread of the virus.

They said a Palestinian man was also injured during clashes between Palestinians and Israeli soldiers at the city.

The Israeli soldiers raided the city and its refugee camp early this morning to detain Palestinian activists where clashes broke out with the residents of the city.

The soldiers opened fire at the Palestinian residents causing injure to one Palestinian in the leg. They also detain two Palestinians and destroyed the check point.
