Palestinian prisoner, Ahmad Nayef Turkman, from the town of Yabad, southwest of the northern West Bank city of Jenin, completed today 17 years locked up in Israeli jails for resisting its occupation, according to the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS).
PPS Jenin director Muntaser Samoor told WAFA that Turkman is serving a life term in prison.
He said Turkman he has been placed in solitary confinement several times and was denied family visits for years.
