The Israeli administration of Ofer jail on Monday decided to transfer 30 Palestinian prisoners from section 12 to Ramon and Negev jails.
According to the Palestinian Prisoner Society, nine prisoners will be moved to Ramon jail and 21 to Negev jail.
The Ofer administration claimed it decided to take such measure after a prisoner attacked and stabbed one of its jailers.
The Ofer administration also closed all sections of the jail and sent for intervention forces to quell the prisoners following the alleged stabbing incident.
There are more than 1,000 prisoners in Ofer jail, including children.
