The Hamas Movement has strongly denounced the statements made by Israeli War Minister Naftali Bennett‏ about Israeli occupation’s plans to accelerate settlement projects in the West Bank.

In a press release on Sunday, Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said that the Israeli plans are a part of an ‘open war’ launched by the Israeli occupation, which is backed by absolute support from the US administration.

He added that it is necessary for all the Palestinian factions to take a serious consensual position in order to repulse the Israeli schemes. The Palestinian Authority, moreover, must halt security collaboration with the Israeli occupation and stop chasing Palestinian freedom fighters.

He finished that the Palestinian people have the right to resist the Israeli occupation until restoring their hometowns and villages from which they were forced out in 1948 by Zionist gangs.
