Israeli occupation forces demolished on Tuesday two water tanks in 'Aynoun area in Tubas, in the northern Jordan Valley, according to Aref Daraghmeh, a local activist.

He told WAFA news agency that Israeli forces demolished two 1000 cubic-meters water tank used for the irrigation of hundreds of dunums of agricultural land in Tubas area.

Israeli forces last week notified the owner of one of the tanks, Adnan Sawafta, of their decision to destroy the water take within 96 hours.

Forces also demolished another 1000 cubic-meters water tank belonging to a number of residents in the same area.

To be noted, this is the third water tank demolished during the past months by Israeli forces in Tubas area under false pretexts.
