The Israeli police chief in Occupied Jerusalem on Monday ordered the evacuation of the Aqsa Mosque’s Bab al-Rahma prayer building.

According to local sources, Israeli police forces embarked upon orders from their commander to forcibly evacuate Muslim worshipers from the building.

In recent weeks, police forces stormed the Bab al-Rahma area several times and confiscated pieces of furniture from the building.

Last February, Jerusalemite citizens managed to reopen the Bab al-Rahma prayer area of the Mosque after it was locked for 16 years by the Israeli police

Jerusalemite officials have already expressed fears of Israeli intents to take over the Bab al-Rahma area and turn it into a Jewish temple as a prelude to taking over the entire Islamic holy site, which Jews claim to be a temple mount.
