Days Of Palestine - Tulkarem

A Palestinian workman suffered a bullet injury on Tuesday morning after Israeli soldiers opened fire at him near the separation wall in the north of Tulkarem.

Local sources said that a young worker identified as Abdul-Salam Khalil, from an-Nazla al-Gharbiya village in northern Tulkarem, was wounded by Israeli gunfire as he was trying to cross into Israel through the separation wall’s gate in Zeita town.

They added that Israeli soldiers subdued the young man and took him away aboard an Israeli ambulance, amid intensive presence of forces in the area.

Many Palestinian workmen suffered bullet injuries during their attempts to cross into the 1948 occupied lands through the same gate during the past days.
