The national and Islamic political forces  in Abu Dis town, east of Occupied Jerusalem, has announced a day of anger and a general strike in support of the hunger-striking prisoners in Israeli jails on Thursday, August 22.

In a statement last night, the political forces called for engaging in clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in all flashpoint areas in solidarity with prisoners Hudaifa Bader and Ismail Khalaf, and all their hunger-striking fellow prisoners.

According to their statement, the general strike will coincide with a hearing to be held on the same day at the court of appeal in Ofer in Ramallah for prisoner Hudaifa Bader, who has been on hunger strike for about 53 days.
