Head of Hamas's political bureau Ismail Haneyya said that a senior Hamas delegation arrived in Tehran on Saturday.

Haneyya, speaking to Turkish journalists through the video conference, said that important results are expected to come from the visit.

As for the Syrian crisis, Haneyya affirmed that Hamas hasn't interfered in the Syrian internal affairs before and will not do at any stage to come, expressing his hope that the ongoing calamity comes to an end soon.

In another context, the Hamas leader condemned the Bahraini foreign minister's meeting with Israeli officials in Washington and the regular meetings between Israel and the UAE.

Meanwhile, Haneyya highly praised Turkey's incessant support for the Palestinian people, particularly on the humanitarian level, over the past years.
