Days Of Palestine [ Occupied Jerusalem ] - The Israeli occupation police on Saturday launched an arbitrary punishment campaign against Palestinian drivers of vehicles in al-Issawiya district in the east of Jerusalem.

According to local sources, police forces spread through the streets of Issawiya, intercepted all passing vehicles, especially on the main road, and embarked on imposing hefty fines on many drivers.

The Israeli police also deployed makeshift roadblocks at the western and eastern entrances to Issawiya during the campaign, which caused long build-ups of traffic.

On Friday night, the police kidnapped  three Palestinian young men as they were walking in a street in Issawiya, with no known reason.
