Dozens of Palestinian citizens in Nahr al-Bared refugee camp have participated in a sit-in staged outside the chief of the camp’s office to express their condemnation of UNRWA’s unfair policy towards the Palestinian people.

The sit-in, which was called for by Palestinian factions in the camp and local committees, was also organized to express support for the Aqsa Mosque and the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in Jerusalem.

The participants applauded the Jerusalem people for strongly confronting Israel’s policies and their determination to extract their rights.

They also called on UNRWA to backtrack on its austerity measures against the Palestinian people and stressed the need to support this agency to continue its work.
