The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at dawn Tuesday kidnapped 22 Palestinians during campaigns in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

According to local sources, seven citizens were taken prisoners during IOF campaigns in Teqoa town, east of Bethlehem, and Jenin refugee camp, west of Jenin.

Two others were kidnapped from their homes in Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah, and al-Janiya village, west of Ramallah.

Meanwhile, the IOF stormed and ransacked the house of martyr Mahmoud Salah in al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem, without making arrests.

The IOF also confiscated a Palestinian car in Balata al-Balad area in eastern Nablus and raided a house in the new Askar refugee camp, with no reported arrests.

IOF campaigns also took place in other areas of the West Bank, including Azzun town in Qalqilya where soldiers photographed some homes.

In Jerusalem, the IOF stormed Abu Dis town while police forces spread around al-Rahma Gate of the Aqsa Mosque as Palestinian citizens were flocking to the holy site for dawn prayers.

The Israeli police also kidnapped two Palestinians from al-Issawiya town in east Jerusalem.
