Decrease font Short video showed group of extremist Israeli Jewish settlers attempted on Friday to kill Israeli activist in occupied West Bank. The Israeli activists was escorting Palestinian shepherds through the occupied West Bank when he came under attack from illegal settlers. Fifteen masked extremist Israeli Jewish settlers attacked members of the Taayush organisation with stones and batons. Israeli Ynet News reported that Eyal Raz, an activist from the movement, said that the extremist settlers had “tried to knock me down.” Reflecting his fears during the attack, he said: “These people [Israeli Jewish settlers] feel that they can do what they want, and it was a very frightening situation.” Between 600,000 and 800,000 illegal Israeli Jewish settlers (there is no official statistic) live in Jewish-only illegal settlements across the occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank in violation of international law.
