Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip –The Palestinian coastal enclave known as the Gaza Strip is still suffering deteriorated situation under strict Israeli siege.
The savage Israeli war that lasted 51-day last summer left thousands of Palestinian families homeless after their houses had been attacked by the Israeli occupation jets.
Euro-Mid Observer for Human Rights said that 17,132 homes were fully destroyed or partially damaged to the degree they became unfit for residency in Gaza by the Israeli occupation this summer. This means that an estimated 40 percent of the Palestinians in Gaza are now residing in houses or tents inadequate for an extreme weather. Official estimations by the Palestinian government said that around 300,000 people are living in the streets. Under the eight year strict Israeli, internationally backed, siege, the situation is getting worse and worse.
