Israeli murderer of motionless Palestinian set free after only 9 months in prison

An Israeli soldier who murders wounded Palestinian spends only 10 months in prison, while a Palestinian boy who throws a stone at an armoured Israeli vehicle might get 20 years in Israeli jails.

Israeli occupation soldier Elor Azaria, who murdered the motionless Palestinian citizen Abdul-Karim al-Sharif, to leave prison on 10 May, Israeli army radio has said.

The murderer Azaria, was sentenced to 18 months, then reduced to 14 then to 12 months. Then, the Israeli army Parole Committee paroled him and granted him an early release which was set to be on Thursday.

Azaria opened fire at the head of the Palestinian citizen, who had been shot by another Israeli soldier and was lying motionless on the ground while bleeding.

Palestinian, Israeli and international rights groups insisted that this is a violent murder and the murderer must have been brought to court.
