Israeli occupation forces abducted 16 Palestinian citizens in different occupied West Bank areas on Monday at night.

Palestinian security sources said that seven Israeli military jeeps raided the Palestinians cities and villages, including two armoured vehicles and a bulldozer.

The Palestinian Prisoner Club (PPC) said that the total of the Israeli occupation forces abducted 16 Palestinians during the night raids.

According to the Israeli media, the Israeli occupation army recognised the abductions and claimed the abductees were wanted for attacking Israeli targets.

Israeli forces abducted 431 Palestinians over the course of the month of September, including 98 children, 11 women, and three journalists, according to a joint report released Sunday by a number of Palestinian right groups.

The majority, 133, were abducted in occupied Jerusalem, while 60 were abducted from Al-Khalil, 45 from Nablus, 40 from Ramallah, 38 from Jenin, 28 from Bethlehem, 15 from Tubas, 10 from Salfit, nine from Tulkaram, seven from Jericho and six from the Gaza Strip.
