Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Monday under the heavy escort of police forces.
More than 110 settlers and two Intelligence officers broke into the Mosque into four groups via the Israeli-controlled Al-Magharbeh Gate, the PIC field reporter added.
The settlers performed Talmudic rituals in the compound in total provocation to Palestinian worshipers.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces continued to stop and search Palestinian worshipers at the Mosque’s gates, restricting their access to its courtyards.
The Israeli occupation authorities have been working on effecting a spatio-temporal division of al-Aqsa between Muslims and Jews that was met with protests on the part of Muslims.
